Mold Remediation
Many schools and older buildings are impacted by unacceptably high concentrations of mold. As awareness of indoor exposure to mold increases, the adverse health effects are becoming better known.
In accordance with EPA guidelines, Shamrock has developed a program to reduce moisture within older structures, decontaminate and return them to healthy working environments. Through the use of wet vacuums, damp wipes, HEPA vacuum and the removal of damaged material, mold damage can be reduced and eliminated.
Proper health and safety precautions are an integral part of each mold remediation project. Under the direction of Shamrock’s CIH, cleanup personnel use appropriate skin and eye protection, respiratory protection and dispose of all protective outer clothing in appropriate containers.
