Biohazard Response
In the aftermath of September 11, 2001 and the Anthrax scare, knowledge and expertise related to bio-terrorism agents was lacking throughout the country. Shamrock drew on the expertise of its staff, the training of its personnel, its vast resources and its support network to respond quickly, safely and efficiently to the threat of Anthrax. More than 150 Shamrock personnel responded within 24 hours. The depth and breadth of these capabilities can be used to respond to a wide range of unplanned scenarios including biological and chemical terrorism.

Other Biohazards
While Anthrax is a high-profile instance of biohazard contamination, there are many other biohazards that affect us on a more routine basis. Shamrock has extensive experience managing biohazard sites.
