Wastewater Treatment A key element of Shamrock’s comprehensive waste services is treatment of industrial wastes and wastewater. Client-generated wastewater is collected and transported to our facility for disposal. By accepting “generator status” for non-hazardous wastes, Shamrock accepts responsibility for proper management of waste disposed of through our facilities. Shamrock’s process facilities are 100% compliant with all applicable permits. Centralized Waste Treatment (CWT) Shamrock’s Browns Summit Facility is fully compliant with its Significant Industrial User (SIU) permit that allows discharge of industrial wastewater to a POTW (Publicly Operated Treatment Works). Shamrock’s Browns Summit Facility meets the new 2003 Rule for Centralized Waste Treatment (CWT) categorical requirement for discharge of CWT wastes to the POTW.
