Solidification & Stabilization
Solidification and land disposal is the most cost effective solution to disposal of many industrial wastes. By commingling like wastes, Shamrock can collect many different waste streams, solidify them using non-reactive agents, and dispose of them at secure, lined Subtitle D landfills. Commingled wastes are thoroughly mixed and pass paint filter tests prior to disposal.
Generator Status
Shamrock accepts generator status for non-hazardous wastes, thereby eliminating client liability.
On-Site Stabilization
Some wastes require stabilization to encapsulate and render hazardous materials inert. Shamrock provides stabilization services in accordance with client specifications and as part of our Remedial Operations Division. Using reagents such as Portland cement, fly ash, lime and proprietary mixtures, Shamrock can reduce leachable contaminant levels and encapsulate hazardous wastes in a variety of conditions.
