Drum Processing
Shamrock Treatment facilities have full drum processing and treatment capabilities. This includes loading docks, storage bays, and the means for proper collection, storage, consolidation, solidification and treatment of drummed non-hazardous waste. Shamrock accepts a wide range of drum containers including poly, metal, and fiberglass drums, as well as totes.
Non-Hazardous Waste and Fuels
Drums that arrive at Shamrock Environmental may contain a wide variety of non-hazardous wastes, solids, oily waters, and even fuels and oils. Shamrock accepts empty drums for disposal (manifested as RCRA Empty Drums). After the contents of a drum have been removed, it is cleaned, crushed and disposed of.
Drummed oils and fuels are handled differently. Shamrock is a registered fuel blending facility and re-seller of recycled oil and fuels.
Hazardous Material
Drums containing hazardous material are manifested, collected and managed for proper disposal in accordance with RCRA, CERCLA and DOT regulations.
