Sludge Treatment & Handling
Shamrock Environmental collects a variety of sludges from clients resulting from plant processes, oil/water separators, tank bottoms and vats. Sludge is collected using our state-of-the-art fleet of vacuum and collection trucks and transported to our Browns Summit/Patton Avenue facilities for treatment and disposal.
Sludge Boxes
Sludge Boxes are used at many client sites to facilitate efficient and economical collection, storage and transportation of process sludges. All sludge boxes are sealed and DOT approved.
Oily Waters
Sludges that contain oily waters are also processed at Shamrock. Several types of non-hazardous oily waters are accepted. Using our extensive fleet of vacuum trucks, oily waters are collected and transported to one of our facilities for processing. Oils are drawn off prior to treatment of the water and combined with like oils for recycling.
