| Waste Consolidation Industrial, process and commercial facilities often generate non-hazardous wastes as a by-product of their business activities. They can also be the recipient of off-spec products that require disposal. Shamrock has served these enterprises for many years by offering waste collection, consolidation and disposal services. Shamrock collects bulk wastes or receives drummed waste directly from the client. These properly manifested wastes are consolidated for easy, cost-effective disposal. Non-Hazardous Non-Recyclable Wastes Common waste types are commingled in large consolidation pits. These pits are made of concrete and lined with carbon steel. A canopy structure covers the pit area to prevent weather intrusion in the solidification process. Non-reactive agents are then added to the waste, mixed and solidified, and disposed of at a Subtitle D Landfill.
